Artwork Appraisal

Haus Gallery’s experts are among the most experienced on the Estonian art market and have been appraising artworks since 1997. We offer our services for insurance purposes, for assessing value out of interest, or in preparation for sale. We also appraise and organize larger collections to determine their current market value.

In each appraisal, we consider the work’s art historical background, condition, preservation, and market potential. The service is generally fee-based, starting at 50 euros per artwork (plus VAT). The final price depends on the scope of work and is agreed upon in advance. If the gallery agrees to consign the artwork for sale, the valuation is provided free of charge. To begin the process, please email us photos of the artwork, including the back, dimensions, and the artist’s signature. We will then contact you to confirm the next steps.

Art collecting is a dignified, engaging, and also emotional pursuit that offers both a personal and shared added value to life, enriching one’s worldview with greater color and depth. Haus Gallery has long-standing experience in building collections and shares its expertise with both emerging and seasoned collectors. We offer guidance in shaping and expanding collections, evaluating artworks, and analyzing investment potential. When needed, we also assist with restoration, framing, and defining the identity of an art collection.

Acquiring Art and Interior Consultations

Haus Gallery helps you find the right artwork for your home, office, or as a gift. Our selection includes both leading contemporary Estonian art and valuable heritage pieces. We also offer the option to try artworks in your space before purchase and can arrange transportation if needed.

With extensive experience, we provide professional art consulting for interior design. Choosing art with us is a collaborative process where artworks are viewed, discussed, and, if desired, tested in your space. We also arrange custom framing to perfectly complement your interior. Additionally, we advise on the investment potential of specific works and offer price evaluations from that perspective.

Framing Consultation for Artworks

Professional framing is an essential part of both the presentation and preservation of an artwork. Haus Gallery offers framing consultation services in collaboration with long-term partners whose high-quality work we trust. They use contemporary, conservation-grade materials that ensure the longevity of the artwork. Our main framing partner is ArtFrame. The most important aspect of framing is the harmony between the frame, the artwork, and the interior, along with many other subtle details we have learned to recognize through years of experience.
