Selling Art through Haus Gallery
View all available art HERE
Haus Gallery accepts artworks in various mediums for sale from both artists and private individuals. The sale price of the artwork is determined in collaboration with the owner, based on the gallery’s long-standing experience in the Estonian art market and the actual sales potential of the work.
We can provide an initial evaluation based on photos sent to Haus Gallery's email. However, to determine the final price and make a sales decision, we need to see the original work in person – the owner can bring the piece to the gallery. For older artworks, it is also important to assess the technical condition and authorship of the piece; if necessary, we involve professional art experts for this purpose.
Once the decision to sell is made, a contract is signed with the seller, and the artwork is received by the gallery based on a written intake document. As a rule, Haus Gallery does not purchase artworks directly but acts as an intermediary in their sale. If a work remains unsold over a longer period, the gallery may suggest returning it to the owner. The owner also always retains the right to request the return of the artwork at any time.
To offer a work for sale, please write to haus@haus.ee or call +372 641 9471 to schedule a suitable time.
Artists who wish to sell their works through the gallery are asked to book an appointment for a meeting and portfolio review. It is also recommended to send your portfolio to the gallery's email in advance. In addition to brokering individual works, we also offer artists the opportunity to organize solo or group exhibitions at the gallery – a great way to introduce their work to a wider audience and gain stronger public visibility.
