Eve Kask (b. 1958) is an Estonian graphic artist and visual artist whose creative style combines sensitive drawing, a conceptual approach to her chosen themes, and a strong social consciousness. She studied graphic art at the Estonian Academy of Arts. Since the 1980s, she has been regarded as one of the most prominent figures in the contemporary Estonian art scene. Kask’s work often carries a personal nuance, addressing themes such as identity, memory and the subconscious, mythology and myth-making, and marginalization. She is known for her ability to highlight those who are often overlooked and to portray stories that frequently go unnoticed—raising socially important questions or encouraging reflection on stereotypical beliefs and ideas. Her creative methods are diverse, interweaving classical printmaking techniques with photography, text, installation art, and elements of anthropological research. Kask has participated in numerous international exhibitions, and her works are held in several art collections. She has also been active as a curator and art educator. Her contributions have been recognized with various awards and grants, including the Kristjan Raud Prize.
