In addition to developing the art market and shaping the value of art, Haus Gallery's auctions of art classics have also an important educational purpose. As an innovation in recent years, we have recorded a video catalog of each collection of auction works. We present well-known authors and their works which are divided into important thematic groups in Estonian art and history. The video catalogs will appear next to the traditional printed catalogs in the period following the auction and are published as accessible to everyone, offering an important educational addition to the introduction of Estonian art to art lovers, enthusiasts, collectors, and art students. Video catalogs take the viewer to Estonian art in a simple, cheerful and easy-to-grasp format. This catalog has been prepared based on the works of the 2022 autumn auction. The texts will be read by Piia Ausman, curator of the auction and owner of Haus Gallery. The author of the texts is art historian Eero Epner.
