Aleksander Krims

As Aleksander Krims himself is surrounded by mystery, also his works are full of it. But this phenomenon accomplished also art deco, a stylistically pure example of which “Palvetav tütarlaps” undoubtedly is. Still, the drawing is lacking this amazing torpor that can be encountered in portrait paintings by Krims. Most probably we are also here dealing with a preliminary work to a painting, which - sadly - has not preserved.
