One of the wunderkinds of the current graphic art seems to be Regina-Mareta Soonsein, who graduated from the Pallas School of Art in Tartu in 2019 with a degree in painting – but this is already another Pallas compared to the Pallas between the wars. The current Pallas school declares the historical continuity of art education, which was forcibly interrupted by the Soviet era. Regina-Mareta Soonsein has received the Biafarin Award at the NordArt exhibition, the Wiiralt Award for the audience favourite, the I Land Sound Festival Best Stage Design Award, and the Newcomer of the Year Award by the Estonian Association of Free Graphic Artists.
