As people moved away from the war era and a new generation grew up, the 1960s brought a youth culture and a mental relaxation from the tensions. Erich Pehap, who emigrated to Canada, has created a stylish graphic page depicting a big party and young people dancing. The focus of the graphic sheet is primarily on noise and movement. The work also corresponds to the history of dance – in the 1960s, people still danced in pairs and in physical contact with a partner. This was matched by dance music based on musicians as personalities, which had not yet become mechanical or disco-like.
