Colourful bouquet of flowers on a wooden base. No flower speaks as themselves, but they do sound like a bundle with the aesthete’s hand. The flower paintings of Valdur Ohakas are rather a pleasant exception in his work. During the late Soviet period, the artist lived in Kütiorg in Võrumaa, relatively isolated in the midst of almost wild nature, where a vivid sense of plants and flowers must have arisen, which is also expressed in his painting.
