Ivar Kaasik (born in Kuressaare) is an Estonian painter. Kaasik began his studies at the Estonian State Institute of Art, Department of Architecture, but graduated from the university as a metal artist. Kaasik has lived in Berlin since 1992. From 1989 to 1990, he studied at the Halle University of Art and Design in Germany. Kaasik has been a member of the German Painters' Union since 2001.
