Reti Saks

Reti Saks was born in 1960 in Pärnu. In 1987 she graduated from the Estonian State Art Institute as a graphic artist, and since 1991 she has been a member of the Estonian Artists' Association. Today she works as a freelance graphics’ artist and a book illustrator. Although she is recognized as a graphic artist, her works also include for example bronze sculptures. Her style has been described as extremely poetic, feminine and somewhat whimsical.

Saks has participated in exhibitions in Belgium, Japan, Italy, Finland, Germany, France, Egypt, Russia, Canada, the USA and Malaysia. She has acquired awards at the Tallinn Printmaking and Graphics’ Triennial, the Riga Triennial, the Caixanova Biennale in Spain and the Cadaques International Small Print Exhibition in Catalonia.
