Arne Maasik
Paris, Paris

Arne Maasik (born 28 April 1971), well-known photographer and architect, graduate of the Estonian Academy of Arts in the field of Architecture, has been equally busy in both fields, having combined the organised rhythms of architecture with the art of photography, with a love for shooting cities, while also having found his own signature in time in the primordial essence of nature. Arne Maasik handles photography through his own characteristic existential point of view, which is amplified by refined subjects of his choice as well as clean compositions.

Estonian Glass Artists´ Union
Accordance IV. With and Without Snow.

For the fourth year in a row, Estonian glass art visits Haus Galerii to create a dialogue with the stationary exposition of the gallery. The traditional title of the exhibition, “Accordance”, is a conjoining keyword whose subtitle of this year, “With and Without Snow”, embraces a longing for light reflected from snow. Snow forms a major part of the identity of the Estonian winter, compensating for the long and sunless winter time and, if absent, causes feelings of longing and is the subject of endless conversations. Glass artists have moulded the stories of this year, with or without snow, in the glass and intermingled with the permanent exposition of Haus Galerii.
