Ruth Tulving "Teos sarjast ”What is Man”"

Ruth Tulving is one of the art legends of Estonians living abroad. Her career actually started while being abroad and she had to win celebrity without the supporting ”Pallas” crutches. Therefore no wonder Tulving possesses an extremely wide vision of the world and implementation of changes in the world art in her personal creation. Colour surfaces seem to be referring to abstractionism, but cleanness and clarity of the surfaces tell us rather of the influence of pop-art. This is also one of the chrestomatic works of the Estonian art history, having also been re-produced in ”Lühike Eesti kunsti ajalugu” (Short Estonian art history”).
